SEXUALITY: Pansexual

FACE CLAIM: Saya Takagi (hair recolor) – High School of the Dead
YEAR: Third Year | Graphic Design Major | Art Club, Anime & Manga Club
PERSONALITY: Chibiusa has always been someone good at getting what she needs to do done. She doesn't like to depend on others to do things for her and she dislikes it more when people hold her back. Intentionally or not. While she is an academic achiever, she's doing this to reach her goal of becoming an artist. Chibiusa is good at drawing and can always be found carrying around a sketchbook with her. Sometimes she'll use it as a weapon to hit people with depending on the reason. Usually two. If someone criticizes her work and doesn't give her a definitive reason as to what about her artwork she needs to improve on or if she finds someone to be incredibly stupid as every word that comes out of their mouth is brain rot. She will even tell someone that to their face, making her blunt. She is a very honest person when speaking to others. However, the things she says can unintentionally come out sounding very impolite, depending on the situation. She doesn't mean to be but if she's expressing her honesty about something, it's her way of showing she cares. Chibiusa is a very expressive person and has been known to wear her emotions on her sleeve. However, she's famously seen appearing serious and this is because she takes anything important to her seriously. Other things that are leisure, she doesn't.
Even she enjoys having some downtime. It has caused her throughout her childhood to be unable to make friends. The reason for this is that she learned that it's better to be honest with everyone than lie to them. Anyone asking her to lie for them will be automatically told no. Chibiusa will not do it. The same when it comes to holding secrets. They may not be her secrets to tell but it only depends on what it is that she'll determine whether or not it's worth keeping a secret from the intended parties involved. If it's something that's messed up she won't hesitate to tell someone they need to sort out their "chaos" as she calls it. The last thing she wants is to be dragged into someone else's mess. Despite how she is, Chibiusa does have friends that appreciate her being honest with them but it does put her at odds with those that don't feel the same. Thus, she tries not to overstep her bounds if she can help it. A weakness of Chibiusa's is sweets and her favorite thing to eat is pudding. She also likes collecting cute things, usually bunny merchandise. She can't help but find it cute some of her friends find it amusing to see such a childish side to her.
OCCUPATION: Part-Time Cashier at Callisto Arcade
PLACE OF LIVING: Valeria University Girls Dormitory > shares room w/Momoko Momohara
APPEARANCE: Chibiusa is a young woman who stands at the height of 5'3" with long blonde hair that she mostly wears in two ponytails on either side of her head. Her hair also has two thin, long bangs at the sides, two strands of hair over the left side of her forehead, and a spiky larger portion of her hair covers the right side of her forehead. She has fierce brown eyes and furrowed eyebrows. Although she normally wears a thin pair of oval-shaped glasses, she does wear contacts to give herself a break from wearing them. Chibiusa is noticeably expressive, and her face ranges from happy and embarrassed to serious and very angry. Her slender physique is noticeable, which is something she prides herself in, along with her C-cup-sized breasts. Chibiusa only brings attention to her breasts if someone else mentions them first. Chibiusa also likes wearing various clothes that she finds cute, whether they be dresses, skirts, shorts, or pants. She'd never openly admit it and easily shows her embarrassment about finding certain things cute.
Chibiusa IHISTORY:Chibiusa was born to parents Jonouchi and Usagi Katsuya and she is the elder sister to Jousagi who was born years later. Her parents, while they weren't wealthy, they were financially stable enough to have kids. Jonouchi worked as a professional tabletop card game player which required him to frequently travel in and out of the country for different tournaments. Each tournament he won first place in, he would receive prize money for it. His wife, Usagi, worked as a social worker and her job helping other children and their families, kept her working long hours at the office. It was Usagi's cute charm, love of food, and all things cute that Jonouchi found attractive about her. He couldn't fall in love with her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. They never had an issue with each other's work profession as Jonouchi was already a well-known tabletop card game player before he'd met Usagi who'd just begun her job as a social worker.
It wasn't long before they discovered they were going to have their first child. They were told it would be a baby girl but that her health may be fragile and to understand that the birth may come with complications. Jonouchi and Usagi understood what the doctor told them and despite what they were told, they would shower their daughter with all the love and care. They named their daughter Chibiusa and she was born prematurely. She had to stay in the NICU to make sure that everything was fine. Once she was determined healthy, her parents were allowed to take her home. From that point on, Chibiusa grew and her personality began to show that she was her parents' child. From a mixture of playful curiosity to blunt honesty. She would often butt heads with her mother and Jonouchi was often put in the middle to solve their problems.
He loved his wife and daughter but he would find their squabbles with one another strange. At least Chibiusa did develop her interests. She did like similar things to her parents such as their love for food, specifically sweets, and her mother's interest in anime, manga, and cute accessories that were bunny-related. She surrounded herself with bunny-themed trinkets, from plush toys to stationery, each one bringing a smile to her face. She also had an interest in art as well for she loved drawing pictures and giving them to her parents. Sometimes not even follow her art assignments and added more than what was required of her and her grade would get marked low for it by her teacher. Her artwork was a burst of colors one minute and then drawing mundane things such as people and animals that were around her.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Chibiusa possessed a sweet tooth that could rival the most dedicated gourmand. She had an insatiable craving for sweets, particularly pudding. It was also her mother's favorite which would spark one of many of the squabbles they had with one another. So to end them, her father would buy them each some pudding and they would eat it together as a family for dessert. It showed they were a very close family despite the squabbles Chibiusa had with her mother. She loved her even if her behavior didn't show it sometimes. It is this same behavior that prevents her from making friends. Her blunt honesty, while refreshing to some, was seen as abrasive by others. She struggled to communicate with others and her attempts to connect often ended in awkward silence or outright rejection. Thus, she found solace in her hobbies, specifically her artwork. But she continued trying until she'd managed to make two close friends: Momoko Momohara and Kyuusuke Sarashina.
Momoko's family owns the Red Dragon Restaurant in Akihabara. Chibiusa always loved that restaurant and it was even more amazing that she and Momoko were in the same classes. Kyuusuke was in a grade higher than the two of them and though he poked fun at Chibiusa's short stature, she immediately set him straight. Unlike how her father was in his high school days when he resorted to fighting a lot, Chibiusa wasn't like that. Her words were enough to get others to back off as many weren't used to girls talking in such a vulgar manner. Beyond this, Chibiusa was a kind person that just wanted to make friends but she had no tolerance whatsoever for people who acted like idiots. She also didn't like it when people would criticize her artwork but wouldn't tell her what she specifically needed to improve on to make her artwork stand out. This would be the only time Chibiusa would resort to violence in the form of using her sketchbook to smack someone with it out of annoyance. She had to deal with this in junior high a lot more which is where her work continued to shine. She excelled in her art classes, her work earning accolades and admiration from both teachers and peers.
There were a few classmates she had who would make rude remarks about her art but they would regret it immediately when they were whacked in the face or upside the head with Chibiusa's sketchbook. Momoko and Kyuusuke found this to be amusing whereas their teachers didn't. She had to be reprimanded by her parents about doing that to which she did slow up on hitting people. As for Chibiusa's two friends, they also attended the same junior high and this was also when her parents announced that they would be adding a new addition to the family. At twelve, Chibiusa had been thrust into the role of elder sister. Instead of being jealous about it, she embraced the responsibility of protecting her baby sister Jousagi. Her love for her younger sister blossomed with each passing day, and her sister being so small and innocent reminded Chibiusa of the childhood that she had with their parents before Jousagi's birth. This also sparked the desire for her to someday want children of her own.
This desire grew when she was in high school and she'd begun seeing Kyuusuke as more than just a friend, even though she would never admit it. Momoko would encourage her to admit her feelings for him before he graduated but she couldn't do it. She was too embarrassed. Plus, considering there were so many girls already going after him, Chibiusa hadn't wanted to appear desperate for her attention. So, she kept her feelings to herself and simply remained friends with him. Kyuusuke graduated, leaving Chibiusa and Momoko to finish their final year in high school. She'd begun wanting to pursue an art career and expand her creativity more through not only hand-drawn art but graphic designs as well. That's when she learned through Momoko that Valeria University had the best art classes and Kyuusuke was attending there as well, making Chibiusa blush like crazy at her friend steadily pushing for her to admit her feelings to their long-time friend. But she wasn't wrong about the school. It did have an art program and many opportunities to expand more in the field of art like she wanted.
So, she studied hard to pass the entrance exam for Valeria University. Momoko did the same and when it came time to see the results, the two of them were excited that they'd passed. Graduation soon came and the two of them embarked on a journey to start their lives as adult university students. Chibiusa's parents and her younger sister Jousagi were also excited for her as well. She had nothing to worry about when it came to tuition and payment. Her parents worked hard to save up enough money for both her and her sister's futures. So, they had enough to help pay for her classes. Chibiusa thanked her parents for their hard work as she appreciated everything they did for her. Her life then began as a university student where she lived on campus in the girls' dormitory with Momoko as her roommate. They even met up with Kyuusuke who congratulated them on getting in.
She'd decided to major in graphic design while exploring other courses in her field as well. It was during one of her classes she met another female student named Junko Darlibagi. There wasn't anything interesting about her but she noticed how standoffish she was. They also had to take the same Japanese History class where their professor at the time was Koichi Nakatomi. Chibiusa didn't know why, but she got the vibe that Junko had feelings for their professor the same way she had feelings for Kyuusuke. She wasn't entirely sure since she had no evidence outside of constantly watching Junko do things for their professor that he could do for himself as it was his job since he was the one teaching them. Not to mention, everyone knew Koichi was a married man. Chibiusa didn't understand who would be in their right mind to go after someone who's already taken. Again, she had no proof and kept her suspicions to herself. She did eventually address her concerns with Momoko about what she was noticing about Junko but she was told the only way for her to know for sure is to interact with her.
If she finds out nothing is going on, then be honest with her and apologize and hopefully, the two of them could become friends afterward. Considering that Chibiusa wasn't one to lie to anyone whenever she spoke with them, it was going to be hard for her to not ask about her relationship with their professor. They weren't in the same year but they were both taking his class. Chibiusa knew what it was like to be lonely, feel lonely but from what she gathered, there were others she'd seen Junko hang out with so she couldn't figure out if loneliness was the reason she felt the other woman was attaching herself to their professor. So, she approached Junko under the premise of wanting to be her friend. If she were to discover it was fleeting and nothing was going on, she'd wave away her suspicions and try to encourage her to like someone else who was available and wanted to be with her. She wasn't unattractive by any means but she did notice that there was one woman that would put her down constantly, which she discovered later that was Junko's older sister Kasumi.
Her interaction with Kasumi was brief but continued to hang out with Junko regardless of her sister's terrible behavior. That made Chibiusa glad she wasn't like Junko's sister. She cared too much about her little sister to treat her like she shouldn't exist. She then introduced Junko to her close friends, Momoko and Kyuusuke, hoping to spread the attention and deter Junko's fixation on Koichi. They all seemed to getting along well. Junko joined the art and anime and manga clubs the three of them were a part of. Although the four of them hung out with no problems, Junko still acted distant. Chibiusa knew that had to do with Koichi. Chibiusa was a firm believer in avoiding chaos, and Junko seemed to be a recipe for precisely that. She was worried but decided not to get involved in Junko's affairs and hoped that she would handle it on her own.
However, after not hanging out with Junko for a while, two months later during one evening on campus as Chibiusa was leaving the library after a late-night study session, Chibiusa stumbled upon a terrifying scene. She'd seen Junko standing at the edge of the very same building to jump off of it. Horrified, she immediately rushed back inside to reach the top of the building. Once she reached the top, Chibiusa didn't hesitate to rush forward and grabbed Junko's arm as she was about to fall forward, pulling her back from falling to her death. As she did so, many love letters had fallen out of Junko's bag, revealing her love affair with Koichi. This confirmed what Chibiusa had thought from the very beginning. Facing Junko's tear-streaked face, Chibiusa was devastated, and she had to confront the reality of the affair. She told Junko, honestly and directly, that she needed to end the relationship with Koichi, knowing it couldn't possibly end well.
Junko, however, revealed a devastating truth: she was pregnant with Koichi's child. Torn between her morals and her understanding of Junko's predicament, Chibiusa was unsure what to advise. She could not bring herself to suggest an abortion, but she knew that having the child would only lead to more pain and heartbreak, ruining both Junko's life and Koichi's marriage. She didn't side with Koichi at all but Junko keeping that child wouldn't help her mentally or emotionally. It would just fill her with the empty belief that Koichi would leave his wife to be with her and their child. It was clear this wouldn't be the case with the way Junko had attempted to end her life. She felt helpless but as a last ditch effort, she told Junko to come find her when she gets her life situated. If she didn't, nothing was stopping her from reporting the affair to the Dean of the university. The two had stopped hanging out and then Junko suddenly disappeared from campus. At first, Chibiusa believed Junko had dropped out but she returned months later, no longer pregnant.
By the time she'd returned, Koichi was no longer teaching at the university. She had anonymously reported that he was sleeping with one of his students and had gotten them pregnant. She knew she shouldn't have done that but she thought Junko deserved a chance at getting back on her feet and moving on from him. Chibiusa had no shred of care for Koichi. He knew what he was doing was wrong and he engaged in it anyway, much like Junko did. Chibiusa couldn't find herself to talk to Junko and decided to distance herself from her and focus on her own studies and life with her friends. This doesn't mean she feels bad but she knew Junko chose the direction she went down and is not one that Chibiusa could approve of. She wishes her well but she was learning from Junko's mistakes for her own life. She had decided she would face her fear and tell Kyuusuke her feelings for him before he graduates. She wants a happy life, the same that her parents have while pursuing a career in art like she wants.
