"So I creep, yeah, creepin' on the down low."

NAME: Amy Hightower

NICKNAMES: Amy-chan, Amy-san, Hightower-san, Voyeur Girl, Freak, Aimee Brighton (adult art pseudonym)

NATIONALITY: American

SEXUALITY: Pansexual

BIRTHDAY: August 19th, 2006

AGE: 18

HOBBIES: People Watching (Voyeur), Drawing, Anime & Manga, Cosplay, Hentai & Porn, Japanese Culture

FACE CLAIM: WataMote - Tomoko Kuroki

YEAR: First Year | Fine Arts Major | Art Club Member and Anime & Manga Club Member

OCCUPATION: Full-Time English Translator of Doujinshi Manga

PLACE OF LIVING: Amy currently lives in the Valeria University Unisex Dormitory and currently has no roommate.

PERSONALITY: Amy is an odd person. At first glance, she appears unapproachable but it's the opposite when one interacts with her. Amy welcomes interaction from others but her shameless, blunt, and crude way of talking comes off as off-putting to many. This is especially true when she admits to liking to watch people to a voyeuristic degree. She is intrigued and interested in the interaction between others because, in actuality, Amy doesn't have a lot of friends because of this and other things about her. But it is through watching people that gives her the inspiration for her artwork and she draws a little too well when drawing people. She can draw what she sees while adding extra to it. Her obsession with anime & manga while normal, she tends to go overboard with it by wearing her cosplay outfits out in the open as if it's normal. Amy loves Japanese culture and went out of her way to take a Japanese class to learn the language and kanji compared to usual electives. It shows that Amy takes her studies seriously when she needs to and scores high grades. However, she can get distracted by things that aren't related to school.

Such as her interest in hentai and porn and it goes more into her love for drawing which developed into an obsession with the human body and wanting to see it engaged more in sexual situations and positions. Amy has a strange desire to watch people have sex up close because she wants to draw it as she considers it a real inspiration for her artwork. Being the blunt and honest person that she is, she will boldly couples if she could watch them have sex if she believes she could get away with it. Yes, Amy has a very perverted and graphic mind and doesn't care either. This is what led her to be sent to a reform school by her parents which she hated but used it to her advantage to be able to get a scholarship to study at a prestigious university in Japan. Now that she is living in the country, Amy wants friends who will accept her for who she is and not try and get her to change. She believes that by living and studying in Japan, she'll find said people she's looking for.

APPEARANCE: Amy is 5'2" in height with large jade green eyes with visible dark shadows underneath them and long unkempt black hair that she always wears down on her shoulders, often covering her right eye. Her skin is very pale, her face is small and circular compared to others around her along with her figure being delicate and petite for someone of her height. Amy tends to imagine herself to be a taller curvaceous woman with large breasts due to her dislike of her real frame. Her most commonly worn outfit is a cosplay Japanese girl's uniform that consists of a collared white buttoned-up blouse with a dark blue or black necktie, a yellow jacket with cyan colored buttons, a knee-length wavy skirt the same color as the jacket with black trimmings. Her obsession with anime & manga along with Japanese culture goes to the extreme that she will wear her cosplay outfits out in the open regardless of how people view her wearing them. Her outfits usually consist of a school girls' uniform, Miko outfits, and black dresses with cat ears, and a tail.  Amy does and can wear normal clothes but they're usually non-feminine clothes that are baggy. These are usually sweatshirts and sweatpants, t-shirts and jeans, and t-shirts and shorts with sneakers for footwear. More often than not, she tends to be mistaken as a high school or junior high school student. Taking one look at her, many wouldn't see her as a university student. Amy I & Amy II

HISTORY: Amy was born and raised in Los Angeles, California to parents Andrew Hightower and April Hightower. She also has an older brother named Adam. Amy's childhood growing up was fairly normal, although her parents pushed her and her brother to test their limits when it came to their academics, it wasn't a requirement to make all marks. They did want them to make decent grades as they wanted them to go to the best universities that would help them in their future endeavors when it came to deciding on their future careers. Amy's relationship with her brother was normal for the most part and they had no qualms with one another. They never tried to compete with each other when it came to their grades. They were just normal siblings that were interested in their own things. For Amy, her thing was art. She loves to draw while her brother loved music, which their parents supported.

Amy could draw what she saw while adding extra details to her pictures to give them more life. It started with simple pictures of flowers and animals. A few of her pictures won her prizes in elementary school. By the time she was ten years old, it didn't take long for Amy's interest in art to start to dwindle. She still loved drawing but she wanted to do more with her work than simply drawing what she sees. She felt she was lacking good inspiration. Her parents were just happy that she had an interest in something that she was gaining recognition for. They were hoping that this would last forever for their daughter since the same was happening to their son who was studying music. The both of them may have been young, yet they were "stars" in their own rights. So they worked hard to make sure their children's futures were set. For Amy, she began to feel bored. She did well in school and was praised for it, just like she was for her art but it didn't make her satisfied. She was still seeking inspiration somewhere. She thought reading stories would help so she began to divulge into novels that her parents had around the house. A tiny spark of inspiration came out of it but not much.

Amy may have won a lot of art contests for the work she continued to draw despite her lack of inspiration for something new, but it didn't fill the creative void she had. Her parents thought that enrolling her in an art academy might help her. Amy wasn't against it, but after looking into it, it did offer a lot of programs and scholarships for young artists. It was a long shot but Amy decided to give it a shot. So she was enrolled in the Los Angeles Academy of Arts school at twelve years old. She was familiar with a few of the students there from her elementary school who were also artists and newer students who were familiar with her work and achievements. Despite not being a talkative person, Amy engaged with others through art. She still felt as if she didn't have any friends as many were expecting her to draw the same art she'd been drawing before she enrolled at the school. Amy wanted to change her artistic style and create something new. That's why she enrolled here. The creative void she had was still present. Amy was constantly searching for what she truly wanted to draw. Sure, she did learn new styles, but it only resulted in her drawing what she already drew in new styles. It wasn't fulfilling to her.

That's when she began asking her peers for some ideas. Seeing that she was seeking help, everyone began to share things they were interested in. It is here a whole new world of art was opened to her as she'd been introduced to anime and manga by those who were into it. It was like a gateway drug into something she'd never thought of before. The closest thing to anime she was aware of was Pokemon but she never paid it any attention and just assumed it was a regular cartoon. She didn't know it was a Japanese product. This made her regret ignoring it because she could've had inspiration sooner. There was a lot of older and newer anime and manga coming out and the moment Amy got a taste of this world, the deeper she found herself delving into it. By the time her parents realized how obsessed their daughter was becoming, it was already too late. Amy was hooked. During the summer between sixth and seventh grade, she began amassing popularity online for her art. The creative void she once had was no longer there and she began practicing nonstop drawing different anime characters since the day she was introduced to it and her skills increased almost exponentially. However, the main increase in her popularity stemmed from what she drew. She wasn't drawing anything like scenery and normal animals. No, she was drawing pretty men and women in different outfits, and her idea of animals was drawing a lot of the Pokemon monsters and changing their color schemes to what she felt would look better.

Because of Amy's interest in the animanga world, she began researching Japanese culture and customs and it sparked her desire to learn to read as well as write the language. Her parents were concerned since they didn't expect their daughter's art to do an entire 180 but they accepted it as long as she didn't go overboard with it. Overboard she did. With her allowance, she would always buy manga, anime, and cosplay outfits to take pictures of herself in. There were times she'd even wear such outfits to school because she felt it helped inspire her and kept her creative juices flowing. She was seen as eccentric for it but it wasn't something that made her popular with others. If anything, those who weren't into it just found her weird and avoided her. Amy didn't care because she now had something that she felt was an endless creative source for her. When she hit eighth grade, had dived further into the animanga world and discovered something she knew she was too young to understand and shouldn't even know about. That was animanga doujinshi and hentai. Another door was opened to her. Instead of the cute and innocent stop she'd been drawing, Amy had begun studying this new form of art and began drawing R-rated to X-rated art and scenes and posting them online. For her original art, she went under her original name but for her more adult-aged art, she used the internet pseudonym of "Aimee Brighton" to avoid her parents knowing about it and anyone at school questioning it.

Eventually, as she reached high school age, the world of animanga had pervaded that of the real one. She'd started to see everyone around her in sexual relationships whether it be straight couples or gay ones, forming a headcanon in her mind that was a story in the form of art. Who was on top and who was on the bottom? That wasn't enough. She felt her headcanons wouldn't hold any weight without anything solid to build off of them. This is how she got into the idea of following people around and watching them. The more she watched, the more her ideas weren't headcanons anymore. They became real. More students than just her were interested in anime and manga but not to the same degree as Amy. She continued to attend the art school but her parents wanted her to attend a normal high school as well. This is how her adult artwork was discovered. It was during a routine locker search that the high school she was attending had in place to make sure students weren't bringing drugs and weapons to school. Instead of finding such things in Amy's locker, what they found were countless photos, and notes about other students, along with the addresses of a lot of students in her classes, showing that she knew where everyone in her classes lived. The faculty found this to be concerning and reported this to her parents. Amy's parents were horrified by what their daughter had been doing. They weren't aware of her following her peers around and learning their addresses and they certainly didn't know about her drawing adult art.

She was even called voyeur girl and freak by her peers while her parents believed that their daughter's obsession with animanga was messing with her head and decided to take everything away from her that was related to it. Amy was horrified by her parent's decision but they scolded her and told her to go back to drawing normal things. No more animanga art, outfits, and products. Everything was taken away from her. Her source of inspiration was gone. Since it was gone, that creative void she once had before returned and she was forced to draw normal uninspired artwork again. This left Amy feeling like an empty shell of herself where she began to close herself off in her room. Her brother Adam was getting worried about her and didn't think it was right that their parents went as far as they did. He could see that his sister was having fun with her art, whether her ways of getting inspiration were appropriate or not. Taking that away from her wasn't good. Their parents didn't listen to him. Anytime Amy attempted to draw anything related to anime or manga, her parents would take it away and rip it up, telling her that it wasn't real art. They no longer supported her interest in taking Japanese classes to learn the language and kanji and stopped paying for them. Amy cried as her parents were taking everything away from her that she got inspiration from, including wanting to visit and maybe live in the country of Japan. She couldn't do that if she couldn't learn to read and write the language.

Amy's parents had had enough of their daughter's behavior, and her not understanding why they were taking these things from her. They considered her behavior to be abnormal and thought it best to send Amy to a reform academy in hopes of getting back the person their daughter once was. No amount of arguing from her or her brother did anything to change their mind. Amy had been sent to Bridgerton Reform Academy to complete the rest of her schooling and she would also be living in their dorms. Amy hated it here. There was no sense of fun or room to be creative and free. It felt like she was in a prison. She was determined to prove that not even this reform school could take away her love of anime and manga, her source of inspiration for her art. The classes and assignments were easy. She passed every class with ease. Whenever she had free time, she went back to drawing anime, and living in the dorms allowed her free space to do it since no one would go in her room to rip up her work. It wasn't hurting anyone and she didn't see why they would. It is usually at the request of parents that something is to be taken and so forth if it proves harmful to their child. All Amy was doing was drawing and relationships were forbidden but that didn't stop many of the students there from engaging in sexual activity in secret. Discovering this ignited Amy's voyeuristic tendencies and there was never a day that she wasn't peeping around every corner at any time of day trying to gain inspiration for her artwork.

Yes, this behavior of hers was creepy, and plenty of times she had been caught by faculty asking her what she was doing. She would never tell them the truth. Instead, she would twist it to make it seem like she was only watching her classmates for inspiration, even if a lot of them didn't interact with one another, in her mind, they did and it was inspiration for her. Numerous times she'd been told to stop but it only just made Amy find more ways to be more discreet whenever she was watching everyone. Although they were concerned with her behavior, she was seeing a therapist to find out where this was coming from as part of a requirement for attending the reform school. Everyone had a therapist they reported to weekly for a session. Amy was as honest and heavily perverted as she could be. She didn't hold anything back, expressing her love for anime and manga to her therapist and how her parents took everything away from her and destroyed her. There were countless times she went back and forth with her therapist about needing to have anime and manga in her life but she swears up and down she does because it's where she draws inspiration for her art from. She'll even promise to stop following people around if it means that she can enjoy the things she loves again.

Hearing this, the therapist talked with her parents. She wasn't causing any damage or other problems while attending the reform school and they didn't see the harm in allowing Amy to enjoy what she enjoys, even if they don't agree with it. They saw it as she wasn't directly hurting anyone and she was still willing to continue drawing. This wasn't what her parents wanted. They wanted their daughter's interest in anime and manga to be rid of completely, not enabled. Amy's therapist told her parents that taking away something won't change their daughter. She may shut down and stop drawing completely. While Amy had shut down before, she hadn't stopped drawing. She was drawing what her parents ordered her to draw. Realizing this, her parents admitted defeat and tried to work on accepting her daughter for who she was. It took some time but they decided that as long as Amy wasn't doing anything weird such as following people around anymore, they would leave her be. They would even allow her to study Japanese again like she had before. The reform school had such a course where Amy could learn the language so that wasn't a problem. It wasn't offered when she first joined because her parents forbade it. Amy was excited to be able to express herself again and once more she was drawing anime characters like no tomorrow.

This included her adult-oriented art. She was able to resume posting her work online as well. Studying Japanese helped her understand the language as well as learning to write it as well. She mainly used it for trying to read a lot of doujinshi that hadn't been translated into English yet but out of boredom, she'd decided to do so herself. She continued to win awards for her regular art but her 'other' art she posted online. Many were bought by her followers who supported her. Amy completed her schooling at Bridgerton and all that was left was university. Her therapist saw how seriously she took her art and kept up with her promise to not stalk after people for inspiration. It was recommended she take the entrance exam to a university in Japan called Valeria. They had a well-known art program there and believed it would be beneficial to help her go further with her work. Amy was excited for such an opportunity. It'd also come with a scholarship since they were looking for more students to join their art programs. Amy was on board and because she also knew that Japan saw value in students who keep up with their studies, she had no intentions of flailing the entrance exam nor failing out if she were to make it in.

And make it in she did with a scholarship that fully pays for everything, the only thing Amy would've had to pay for is her own place of living should she decide she didn't want to live on campus. Amy wanted to live on campus. Why? Because there was a unisex dormitory which meant there would be more people for her to watch. Although she did stop stalking people around for art inspiration, that didn't mean she wouldn't do it again at some point. Despite her differences with her parents, they were proud of Amy's achievements and wanted to wish her well in her future. After all, they were working hard to put her and her brother through university and they were sticking by their word. Her brother wished her good luck and hoped to visit her soon. Once she got her passport and Visa squared away, Amy was off to Japan to attend Valeria University. A new country means new experiences and inspiration for her artwork. Amy couldn't wait.
