PERSONALITY: Alexandra has always been a very loud and outgoing person. She's always wanted to make friends and meet so many different people, and she's known for leading the conversations she's in. She has no qualms about being the center of attention, not caring what others think about her and what she does. That's including whenever she's intoxicated as well. This shows she's very laid back and not forcing herself to worry about many things. However, because she doesn't, it tends to come back and bite her in the butt later. She can be very flirtatious, sometimes to a fault, and not realize that she's making others around her uncomfortable. But she knows her boundaries, and her fiancee reminds her of those. It rings true when she's told she lacks professionalism when she needs to. Despite that, she is a kind woman who doesn't mind helping others. Others that would allow her to.
As she stands out a lot in how she acts, only a select portion of teachers at Valeria University willingly associate with her as they don't mind how she is, and surprisingly, they welcome a new face and change in their faculty body. They can tell that she takes her job seriously despite how she displays herself around people. She doesn't like it when others mock her job profession and tell her it isn't worth it or needed at the university. Her style of dancing is too provocative and attention-drawing. They want it to be more professional, conservative, and all-around appropriate. Alexandra wishes to break this mold that Japan views regarding the art of dance. So, instead of being a strict and critical teacher toward her students, she is attentive and willing to listen to what her students want and encourage them. Show them how to better their techniques. Alexandra shows that she isn't used to the strict environment of Japan, and even if she has watchful eyes on her, she continues to do what she strives to do.
PLACE OF LIVING: Lives w/her fiance Kaze Kagero in a two-bedroom House at Northville Crossing
APPEARANCE: Alexandra is a woman of above-average height, fit and build. She stands at 5'7", causing her to tower over many people who aren't used to a woman being her height. The only person she doesn't tower over is her fiancee. Her stature and physical build show that she exercises and takes care of her body regularly to stay in shape. Her breasts are an average C-cup, and she can be seen wearing a lot of casual clothing regularly, even when she teaches. While other teachers at Valeria have always instructed her to wear more professional attire, Alexandra simply chooses not to do this. She teaches her classes while liking to feel comfortable in what she's wearing. As long as it isn't revealing, she's satisfied. She saves that kind of attire when she's not working and hanging out with her fiancee and friends.
HISTORY: Alexandra grew up in Guatemala, where she attended a private school. She was an average student who made mediocre grades. So, while she may not have scored high in school as she struggled academically, she made up for it with her love for dancing. She grew up with different music CDs and many different music genres. She even had different VHS and DVDs of dancing competitions, which expanded her love of dancing, joining her high school dance club. When she graduated high school, knowing what she wanted to do but not knowing if her country offered such opportunities, she moved to the US, where she learned English. At 22, having difficulty finding a job after graduating, she entered a TV talent show with her dancing skills. Acing in the auditions, she entered and had a blast doing so. That's where she also met Kaze Kagero, a lovely musician who could sing and play different instruments.
Despite having multiple relationships and being crushed, something about him caught her attention, and she immediately grew interested in wanting to get to know him more. Her excitable personality surprised Kaze as he wasn't used to women being so forward towards him. But they both took a chance with one another and began spending time together. They started out as friends and continued to compete against each other in different competitions. Neither of them won the competitions they entered. Always coming in third or fourth place. Despite their losses, the two fell in love with one another and began dating. Their relationship has lasted for three years, and they're still together to this day. Eventually, their hard work paid off. Kaze had been offered a job at a university in Japan by a man who worked for the school and loved his music. As for Alexandra, she was offered a job at this school but as a dance instructor, while her husband was offered a position in their music department.
Alexandra was very uncertain about this offer, but at the same time, she didn't want to turn it down. This very kind man offered them both an opportunity because he liked their passion for their talents. He wanted to see a little of that brought into the university where he worked and to give the school a fresh face by incorporating styles from different people from other countries. Alexandra was excited about the offer and said yes, just as Kaze agreed to the offer he was given as well. However, they would have to take classes to learn Japanese and provide a proper lesson plan that was structured but acceptable. They agreed, and they made proper plans for their new jobs. Though Alexandra struggled with the Japanese language and how formal it was, she was willing to put in the work and not be afraid that she would do a terrible job. She wanted to inspire her new students to a new culture of dancing. She's doing her best to learn and study the language.
And with this new change in her life with Kaze, he found it was a great time to propose to her and start their new life in a new country. With shock and glee, Alexandra accepted, is now engaged, and is excited to have a beautiful wedding in Japan. The teachers of the university she and her fiancee teach at, Valeria University, weren't welcoming to her outgoing and excitable personality. Often criticizing and telling her that she needs to be professional and show structure, but Alexandra refuses to deny or hide who she is simply because of cultural differences. She understands that the country of Japan is different from her birth home and the US, but she has no shame in showing her new students that there's nothing wrong with expressing themselves. They don't have to be a clone of society! Be who they are and let no one stop them. Her students love her for this, and while they showed skepticism initially, they have grown to accept that she is someone who wouldn't judge them. And her fiancee couldn't be more proud of her for her achievements.
