PERSONALITY: Tsubasa has been playing all sorts of instruments since childhood, having always been a gifted musician. He can play most classical instruments such as the violin and the piano and interestingly enough, prefers to play either of these two the most compared to others. He feels that playing the violin and piano, both take away the stresses he has to deal with in his everyday life so he doesn't have to focus too much on them and therefore can remain his happy usual self. Though he's been known for being a gifted person, he is exceptionally smart. He may not be genius-level intelligent but he does study hard, pays attention to his assignments in school, and has at least maintained a place in the top five of the mock exams. He's a well-educated individual. Tsubasa also stays on top of his health by actively participating in different sports. By maintaining an appropriate amount of physical activity, he's become good in general athletics and stays very healthy despite appearing small and fragile when he's anything but. Tsubasa is an approachable individual who can socialize with all sorts of people. Easily befriending them and tends to unintentionally become popular with them even though he isn't seeking attention, but rather just trying to make friends. He always wears a smile on his face and is affectionate towards other males.

He may be intelligent, however, his nature as a person conflicts with himself whenever he's faced with a problem. He can be very indecisive when it comes to matters that cannot be simply handled by determining who's in the right and who's in the wrong. He also doesn't put a lot of focus on his gender either. He knows he's male but has always felt comfortable wearing clothing of both genders. Getting compliments from many who state how good he looks in what he wears. He didn't used to be confident in himself. In fact, he used to be sensitive when it came to gender-based topics which made him feel insecure at that time. Now, he's not bothered by the discussion of the topic and isn't afraid to tell someone that he's male but finds it comical when other men do hit on him when they don't realize he's a guy or the occasional lesbian hitting on him. He just thinks nothing of it now and finds entertainment in it. He will stand up for those being mistreated for any reason and it's always within his nature to try and encourage others to feel better about themselves. Of course, like with any person, there is more to Tsubasa than meets the eye. He's not above being a tad mischievous when he wants to be. He can be shown to have a sadistic side of himself as far as jealousy is concerned if it involves someone that he deeply cares about and trusts. He's not above putting the fear of God in someone if he has to.

APPEARANCE: Tsubasa stands at the height of 5'7" with short and messy sandy-blonde hair with bangs and sandy-brown colored eyes. When he's working on music alone, he's usually wearing button-up shirts and polos covered with a cardigan. When out in public, whether attending classes or performing a music piece in front of a crowd of people, Tsubasa's clothing choice is usually a mixture of unisex-based attire. Usually, dressed more professionally and appealing, which made him easily approachable to many and off-putting to some. While he is never mistaken for being a woman, he has been described as feminine-looking by his peers. He takes no offense to this and just wears what makes him feel comfortable. HISTORY: Tsubasa Shidou was born and raised into a wealthy family that runs multiple large businesses all over the world and a prestigious private school. Since childhood, he has always received the best education from highly respectable teachers and tutors. He is a high achiever both academically and athletically. Tsubasa's also very sociable and has always been a popular person at his former schools and tutors have often expressed that he is a well-behaved, well-mannered, and kind individual. The only problem is, only Tsubasa's private at-home tutors knew of his true gender but whenever he attended school, everyone, including his teachers, saw him as female. This is because of the simple fact that before Tsubasa's birth, his parents were told that they were going to have a girl as they already had a son and were aiming for a girl. So, Tsubasa isn't an only child.

His parents' work kept them away from home frequently and so he spent a lot of his time with either his older brother Tsukasa or their home staff that was paid to keep an eye on him. Tsubasa didn't have much interaction with his parents and whenever he did, he was surprised by it. His parents came up with the idea to dress their son up as a female due to the simple fact that he had an androgynous outlook that made it easier for him to do so. Though his presence was overlooked often compared to his older brother it didn't stop him from doing things he enjoyed. He may not have gotten much attention from his parents, so he put all of that frustration into something more productive. Tsubasa loved music and had been taught to play many different instruments, becoming more talented in playing the violin and piano at age ten. He puts all of his focus and energy into playing these instruments to where he creates such beautiful, comforting, and relaxing music.

Since more was expected of his brother and less of him, Tsubasa focused on doing his own thing. He began to enjoy music and how it made him feel at ease. It helped him to keep his mind off of his strange underlining family problems that wouldn't be considered major in the eyes of others but there is no doubt Tsubasa displays detachment from his family. He'd sometimes feel bad about being born male since he knew his parents wanted a girl but they strangely settled for having him wear female clothing which Tsubasa never thought much of it. He saw them as clothes and didn't seem to pay attention to the stares he would get from some people. Although, there have been times he's been flirted with by both males and females which he finds to be amusing mostly. As he got older, he began to accept himself a little more and just focused on doing what made him happy. However, his family's business took a major dive. They couldn't afford to pay the help they hired, let alone take care of their children. The situation began to escalate into dangerous territory where loan sharks were involved so his parents made the decision to drop him and his brother off with relatives to live with.

Tsukasa lived with cousins on their mother's side while Tsubasa ended up living with his aunt and uncle on his father's side. This proved to be a problem since his aunt and uncle refused to follow his parents' footsteps of treating him like a female when he was male. Tsubasa didn't mind, either way, he just didn't want to be a burden on anyone. But he'd promised that as long as he lived with them, he'd do his best to not cause problems and help out as much as he could. And he kept his word in doing so. Though he did have to share a room with nagging younger cousins until he eventually grew tired of the nagging and the fights between the cousins and eventually decided when he got himself a job to move out. It also helped that he was musically skilled so he didn't have to worry all that much in terms of making money. But getting a day job was still needed but he has a youtube channel where he plays violin and piano instrumentals. A mixture of it being original pieces and known pieces. His grades stayed up despite everything and he was able to graduate from high school and start college immediately due to the scholarship he'd earned. He could've taken that scholarship to any school but he instead had chosen to attend Valeria where he's now a second-year student. During his time at Valeria University He has met and befriended Kaoru Yukimi. Though the other boy is unstable at time he doesn't complain or mind it letting him be himself. Strongly feels a deeper interest and notion for Kaoru than just friends but has yet to fully come out with it finding it a bit to awkward and not wanting to get pushed away.
