PERSONALITY: Gregarious, Fun loving and a bit of a know-it-all in the sense he likes sharing info and trying to teach someone about things; usually to the point that he doesn't notice that occasionally the other person really...really doesn't care, or might already know some or all of what he's talking about. His favorite topics to talk about unsurprisingly in his field, war and ancient politics, and enjoys using tactics he's learned from the past in his favorite hobby, war games, where he uses his knowledge of the past to leverage an advantage in game. Outside of that he tends to be a relatively shy person in terms of outgoing activities, if he weren't invited somewhere he'd probably not search out things to do himself aside from the aforementioned games, and tends to be a wallflower in official gatherings. He's still not sure how he managed to land a job in the university in spite of this fact.

APPEARANCE: You have one of two choices: either describe what your character looks like in detail, at least one to two paragraphs long, or you can find a picture to use. Either is acceptable or both. Just so long as we know what your character looks like. It is not a requirement to use an image. If you don't want to or can't find one, you can describe what they look like in a paragraph. Please ensure your images aren't huge to where they are stretching and making the page scroll. The default suggested size can be 225x350. If you want to share more images of your character, please link them, especially if these images are too large.

HISTORY: Born and raised in Dublin Ireland to a working-class family who were firm followers of a united Ireland and were known supporters of the IRA and their actions during The Troubles. This had the effect of rubbing this sentimentality on the young Cornelius who has his own opinions on the past but keeps an open mind, yet generally, he dislikes the British crown and its government in general and is quick to point out the problems. He earned a job at Valeria completely on accident after a visiting scholar struck up a conversation with him and was impressed enough to offer him a recommendation that he may not have taken seriously until he was offered a place in the staff and did the currency conversion.
