PERSONALITY: Kesshō is a outgoing and boisterous woman who enjoys being active and being around other people. This has led her to lead a very active lifestyle where she goes about looking for new activities to enjoy often dragging her friends into it, sometimes to their exhaustion and dismay. Though when she cannot be out and about in the world experiencing new things she loves nothing more than curling up with a good book and some tea, or occasionally some booze depending on the genre. She especially enjoys contact sports if possible, only recently taking up airsoft and LARPing after Zach had shown her some of his arsenal and convinced her to check out some videos on the topic, like Knight Fights.
Her primary vice is booze. She looooves herself some good drink, from Everclear to Sake she's tried it all and has an opinion on all of it, including on what one should drink for whatever situation they find themselves in. Feeling like going hard at a party or dance floor? Must have Tequila. Feel like a hot and spicy night with a loved one? The sweetest tasting sake you can find. Feeling fighty? Can't go brawling without a pint of Guinness. She has a habit of going overboard though and despite protests by her room mate she often makes him drive her home from the bar...or post bail that one time.
APPEARANCE: HISTORY: Kesshō grew up in a rather strict household, expected to be the best in all fields she was shown, to be obedient to her overbearing parents who expected her to go to the best school, and marry into money if possible. Her father worked hard to get where he was in his company, but had no prospects to move any higher without some sort of scheme and her mother was a stay at home mother. Needless to say Kesshō did not subscribe to stress very well and as many children in that kind of situation nowadays rebelled. She ended up beating the crap out of her father after he announced he planned to arrange a marriage with one of his higher ups when she turned of age in hopes that it would favor him for promotion. Turns out when you send your daughter to fighting lessons, she might actually be good at fighting. She had no intention on sacrificing the rest of her life as some random creeps trophy wife, especially not for her parents financial gain.
Her parents didn't call the cops on her, after all if word got out that her father was beaten up by his own daughter, he's become a laughing stock rather quickly. That said she wasn't going to sit around and let them get their way just because she was staying under their roof. She quickly ended up staying at cheap capsule hotels after that, relying on minor aide from friends, doing odd jobs, and amature fights, some not quite legal per say, to get by for the last couple months before she graduated. This would continue for a couple years until she finally she ended up landing a steady job that paid okay around the time when she came across a peculiar guy at one of her favorite pubs in town. She noticed that he almost always sat at the bar and bought a small meal but only ever drank soft drinks instead of the wide spread of different boozes one would expect a bar patron to partake in. When she asked around apparently he was related to the pubs owner somehow, something about outlaws, and she decided to ask the owner about him. One thing led to another and she learned that he was a foreigner staying for school and was staying in his own place all by himself. Turns out he was an American by the name of Zach Green.
Kesshō and Zach seemed to get along swimmingly and for about a couple months whenever they caught each other at the bar they'd chat for a bit. She would learn the reason he frequented the bar so much was that the owner was a family friend, giving him a cheap place to eat out to save money, plus the owner was helping him with his Japanese since they were both native English speakers. Surprisingly his job as an IT guy for the university didn't pay amazingly since he was just a contractor so the cheep food helped a lot on his bills. Having grown very tired of cheap hotels and couch surfing she was considering attempting to convince Zach to let her room with him, he'd mentioned his place was a two bedroom house when she asked him how he managed to get a house when he didn't make much. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately for her, Zach managed to get himself banned from the bar after he attacked some goon who tried to slip something in a girls drink. The owner of the bar agreed that Zach did the right thing, it was for the best that he didn't hang around the bar anymore in case the guy showed back up looking for trouble.
Kesshō would end up keeping contact with Zach after that and actually seeing his place first hand on a totally-not-date, she brought up the question of renting out his guest room. After all she wanted a steady place to stay and keep her stuff, and he needed the funds. One thing lead to another, Kesshō found that Zach was a surprisingly candid person, and pressed her luck on resulting in some interesting nights. Eventually they would go on to develop a romantic relationship that while it did get Zach introduced to many of his new friends in Japan, didn't quite work out and fizzled into a friends-with-benefits situation due to some unresolved issues; among which was her excessive drinking, habit of being late on the rent, and causing trouble when she's out, and Zach's homebody tendencies and habit of overthinking things. While both have improved in these aspects, much to the appreciation of not only her kidneys but all of their friends in general, it just didn't happen in time. She now shares the household with not only Zach but his new Fiancée Sasha, the woman that he only met because Kesshō took Zach to the very party where they did so, and she has mixed emotions about this development.
On one hand she's glad Zach is happy and in a good relationship with someone who seems genuine and cares for him, after all even though they weren't together any more doesn't mean that Kesshō hates him or anything. On the other hand however the opportunity that the pair of them would eventually get back together was now virtually zero. Sasha was a good person too, Kesshō could think of plenty of worse people for Zach to have found himself falling for and not many better and sometimes she wonders if she fits in the former category more so than the latter. Even if somehow one day she got another chance at fixing things and having a proper relationship with him, she couldn't help but worry that maybe that isn't to be.
To help keep not only those emotions and self doubting thoughts in check, but to not risk losing out on more good things in her life, she's recently refocused her life on advancing her career as a fighter as advised by her friend Sadie. Rumor has it that UFC is attempting to revive their league in Japan and she is aiming to join the octagon as a serious contender. As such, she's been training at the nicest gym she could afford a lot more often, hoping to catch the eye of a scout or qualify in local promotions. A bit more stressful than her Planner job, but at least when she's stressed it's alright give someone or something a good haymaker about it.
