Ganzu Square Mall / Re: Searching for new outfits (Open)
« Last post by Momo Hasegawa on August 03, 2025, 03:19:15 pm »
Momo giggled at Kasumi's enthusiasm. "Don't worry, I already own some heels that help me out in that department. They're really cute, too. I should've worn them today, but I knew I was going to be walking a lot in the mall today, so I decided against it," she said. Granted, she always wanted to look cute in what she wore, no matter where she went and what she was doing, but Momo knew her limits regarding heels. Some are only good for walking in for a short period, and the ones she has aren't made for that. Thus, she didn't wear them today. She decided to go comfortable. However, if she knew that she was going out purposely to garner positive attention, then yes, she would've worn a pair of her heels today, as it meant she'd be doing more sitting than walking around for longer than planned.

Momo never thought about seeking out guys in the mall. She usually came here alone or with friends to hang out and have fun. Guys were hardly the last thing on her mind unless one of her friends mentioned the subject. It would usually mean they had someone they were already dating, or were interested in someone they knew and wanted to share it with everyone, and get some advice. It would appear to Momo that Kasumi knew the specific days and times to come to the mall and see handsome guys. She had never thought about that before, but it sounded interesting. She'll try it once to see if that's the case. It sounded like a fun experiment in Momo's mind. She nodded in response to what Kasumi was saying.

"That sounds like fun. I will definitely have to test that out sometime," she said. "I also appreciate you not judging me at all for how I've set the goals in my life. I've been told by a lot of people that it's childish to worry so much about what age to get married. It's not impossible to get married before you are twenty, but these days, it is a little harder, considering that people are so different and want different things. I certainly do want kids, though, but I am in no rush to have any." Momo didn't want to make the mistake of jumping into a relationship quickly and getting pregnant by a guy who says he doesn't want kids when he'd never mentioned before that was how he felt. She's seen that happen a lot, and that makes life hard. One is left feeling so guilty about their actions and believing no one would want them with a child. It's a sad, hard truth, and she may have had her goals, but she was certainly taking her time to achieve them.

This conversation between her and Kasumi made her feel so happy that she couldn't help but pump her fists in excitement, but she made sure to respond respectfully so as not to draw attention to both of them. "Hai, I agree. Finding a guy will happen when it happens," Momo said, giggling again. "Still, I cannot thank you enough for being willing to help me out. I think I'll do social media for a while, but in the event, I do find someone to be with and get married to him, out of respect for my husband, I'll simply stick to regular modeling where I'm seen in only magazines. I'd probably only use socials to post pictures of us together, but that's a bridge to cross when I get there."

Momo doesn't expect her pictures online to start appearing spicy, but she wants to be respectful to her husband and only have parts of her body be seen by him. Not for the world to see on display. But she had to get established with an agency and go from there. In the meantime, she still had her job at the cat cafe, and she was happy to know Kasumi seemed interested since she was looking for a job herself. Kasumi then apologized to her, but she shook her head. "Iie, I'm not upset at all. In fact, it's nice to meet someone who's just as excited as I am. My classmates are rather indifferent but excited in their own way about modeling. I really want to have fun with it. So that makes me happy to know that you'll buy a magazine in the future if I'm ever on the cover of one. That's the motivation and energy I appreciate," Momo admitted.

She was telling the truth. Her close friends were always excited about her pursuing a modeling career. She was taking it seriously but also having fun with it. Her classmates were also pursuing the same career, but not so much. They took every gig they had seriously. They didn't see it as something fun. They saw it as a job. To Momo, that sounded depressing. Momo knew it was a job, but it shouldn't be just that. It can be fun as well. She really liked Kasumi's optimism, but they had varying ideas of what clothes were cute. That wasn't bad, but in her mind, she didn't think many outfits shaped her body well. But if required to wear them for a photoshoot, she'd do it without complaints. Since Momo had never worn rompers before, she had no definitive opinion outside of feeling they wouldn't shape well with her body.

Kasumi, on the other hand, knew and had all sorts of ideas related to them. Momo couldn't help but ponder, giving a small hum. "I suppose. I never gravitated towards them, so I can't say whether or not I agree if one will look good on me or not." However, Momo is a very optimistic person, so she is willing to try something out that she's never tried before. To at least say she tried it, and it didn't work out. When asked about the two dresses again, she carefully held them up by their hangers, as she had them hanging over her forearm moments ago, and put them in front of her where Kasumi could see them. "These two dresses. I was going for sophisticated for one and cute for the other one. These two dresses stuck out to me," Momo said, smiling. "And no need to worry, I'm sticking with what I'm used to wearing for the time being. The adventurous side can always come later."

Darlibagi Shrine / Re: Sho, Can You Help Me
« Last post by Shouta Akimoto on August 03, 2025, 12:33:30 pm »
Sho was in his room, currently working on the latest chapter to the story he's been working on. He was already four chapters ahead of the team of artists he had working on the drawings for it, but he wanted to keep them busy and give them work to do. There were times like this he wished he were good at drawing, but he only felt that way because he didn't like bothering others. Having had bad experiences with that when he was younger, but he's gotten over it for the most part. Plus, he technically had no choice since he'd agreed to accept the offer to turn his story into a manga with Yuuto being at the helm of it as his editor. That was already awkward enough, all things considered, but he was pushing the feelings he had regarding Yuuto away to focus on the very thing he went to school for.

He still kept his job at Sadie's bookstore to earn some extra income on the side. He wasn't going to entirely depend on what income he managed to make from his story being published, and he'd already set up a backup plan in case things failed. He'd keep his job at the bookstore and alternate between working full-time and part-time hours for Sadie. Any income from that job he'd save and use for his living expenses. It was the main reason why he was living at the Monagasa Inn. Sho was living within his means. Even though he had high-profile friends with connections, he chose not to use them. Their wealth is their own. It was never like him to depend on others or take from them.

It was usually always assumed because of who he hung out with, which he disliked greatly. At the same time, he saw no need to have to constantly explain himself to strangers who didn't know him. After a while, he stopped doing that. He did it a lot when he was in his teens, but hardly at all now. If anything, Sho was cynical and easily annoyed by the stupidity of others. Which his current group of friends seems to have taken notice of. However, the only person who seems to get annoyed out of all of them is Zach. Thinking about that made the green-eyed young man roll his eyes as he continued to sit there writing. He was always questioning why Sho responds the way he does whenever any of them say or do anything.

Yeah, how would anyone respond to their friends acting like horny idiots. Annoyed, obviously. Why that bothered Zach so much, he had no idea. Despite finding it weird, Sho didn't care enough to ask. He knew way too much about Zach's and everyone else's sex lives than he would've liked. Nothing seemed personal anymore. He sighed, shaking his head. He decided not to put much thought into it as he continued writing. It was right then that his phone on his desk began buzzing. He wasn't expecting a text from anyone about anything important. Outside of gathering at Zach's house for another D&D session that would go sideways like it always did, Sho figured that's what it was about. Setting his pencil down, he grabbed his phone to check to see who had texted him. He was going to turn down meeting up since he was currently busy, but when he checked his phone, he raised a brow to see a familiar name from someone he didn't expect at all to message him.

Darlibagi Kasumi. Junko's older sister. He'd met up with her sometime ago to help her shop for a birthday gift for Junko. It went from that to sitting down with her and finding out there was a lot more going on with Junko than he'd ever realized was happening. It made Sho a little sad that Junko never tried to talk to him and allowed herself to get mixed up in a situation with someone who left her pregnant. It made him wonder if any of the others knew about this and just never mentioned it around him. But why? Junko clearly needed some sort of guidance and support, and if the others knew about what was going on with her, why would they hide it from him if they were all friends? 'Iie...' He shook his head. There's the off chance none of them knew either. As much as Sadie cared about everyone, Sho knew that she'd definitely say something to him about it. If only to reach out and help Junko.

But there was no one who said anything. That had to have meant they knew nothing. Right? He frowned, pushing those thoughts out of his mind as he began reading Kasumi's text message. From the looks of it, it would seem she wanted to know if he had a moment to talk. Looking at the time on his phone, it was pretty late in the afternoon already. That meant he'd been writing since the time he'd woken up today and not gone out at all. He did eat something, which he knew Yuuto would chastise him for if he didn't. As for Kasumi, he sent a reply back to her saying that he was free to talk if she wanted to call him. Talking through text would get tiring for him after a while. For Sho, it was just easier to talk over the phone if not in person with someone. However, since this was Kasumi, he was leaving that decision entirely up to her, since this would be the second time she'd reached out to him about anything. He never got that from Junko...

"Okay." Was Sho's response as Yuuto had decided to play a round of the crane game. He'd half expected him to choose another to play, but he wasn't complaining. Both of them winning a large plush cat sounds rather comical, but Sho knew he would be giving his away to Saeko since she has that originally stray kitten that's now grown into a cat as her pet that was given to her by Howard, he figured she would like this. If she didn't, there was always Sadie, who just liked anything adorable. Unless stated otherwise.

He stood there in silence, holding onto the plush cat he'd won as he'd watched Yuuto insert money into the machine and begin playing the first round of the game. As he watched him, he noticed he was going for one of the stuffed brownish-looking plush cats with the green bib around its neck. There appeared to be only two in the machine, while there were more of the other ones inside. The one Yuuto was going for appeared separated from the other one. 'It's probably best he went for the one further. Trying to go for the one closer usually ends with spending more money for it to constantly fall or the claw never gripping it properly,' Sho thought. That was how he played the game anyway. It gave him more of a challenge to try and grab an item from an impossible spot and move it as close to the drop box as he could. Sometimes he'd win on the first try, and other times he'd take him two more tries to get it.

But that was due to Sho having more patience than others did when it came to the crane games. That and he'd played them so much when he was younger, one would have no choice but to learn to be patient with a difficult game such as this. And everyone had their own way of playing a game that was easier and made sense to them. It didn't always work for others. As expected, he'd seen Yuuto's first attempt at grabbing the plush cat he was going for end with him not winning it. The claw grabbed a part of the plush that was very noticeable that it was going to slip out. 'He almost had it,' he thought, sheepishly scratching the side of his face with his left index finger while holding his own winning with his right arm. He figured Yuuto would want to try another game, but was surprised when asked for advice before he attempted to play again.

"Eh?" That was Sho's initial response as he, again, was not expecting the other to try the game for another round. "Um, I play the game a little bit differently," he'd told him. "I don't always go for an item that's already closest to the drop box already and get it where it want it to try again." That was the best way he felt he could explain it, but he didn't know if that would work for Yuuto. He could give it a try to see. That's all he could do.

Central District / Re: Junko's Birthday Gift (Kasumi) - Recap
« Last post by Shouta Akimoto on August 02, 2025, 09:30:34 pm »
Sho was going to collect some more things to properly set up the gifts he was going to give Junko for her birthday, but he decided first to see if Kasumi managed to find her way to the aisle he'd instructed her to go to, where most of the Gundam figurines were located. He left the aisle he was on and headed in that direction. There, he'd found Kasumi standing there blankly at the model Gundam kits with a confused look on her face. He remembered that Junko did enjoy putting together model Gundams in her spare time. He was unsure of how often she did them or even how many she had owned and done already. It's why he stuck with buying her other anime-related items he knew she'd like. But even if Kasumi had bought her a Gundam kit to put together, even if she already owned it, at least she put in the effort to try.

He was rather surprised that Kasumi remembered that her sister liked putting together the Gundam model kits, but as he looked away from the shelf and back at her, he couldn't tell if she really did remember or was just confused about what she was looking at. He just raised a brow as he cleared his throat to get her attention. "Figured you were still hanging around the door," he finally replied, then shifted his gaze from Kasumi and back to the model kits. He honestly didn't think she'd venture further into the store based on how she was acting. She seemed to make it this far. Sho wondered how long that was going to last before she did something else that was completely asinine. "You figured out which kit you're going to get her?" he asked her. It was best to keep the topic of conversation on getting Junko the proper gift. However, Sho wasn't opposed to discussing another topic. If it had anything to do with giving her advice, he'd remind her once again, he can't get her advice if she isn't clear on what happened between her and her sister.

Darlibagi Shrine / Sho, Can You Help Me
« Last post by Yuuto Usui on August 02, 2025, 09:09:41 pm »

Kasumi cries for what feels like forever in her eyes.  She is alone in her room trying to recover from the so called conversation with her little sister.  Kasumi thought this evening was the perfect time to apology to Junko.  Discuss her goals and how she wanted things to be going forward.  The conversation didn't go how she intended at all.  Junko was not quiet and timid.  She was cold and full of rage.  Kasumi touches her wet swollen cheek where Junko slapped her.  The tears spill over her cheeks as she relives the moment.

Kasumi can’t ever remember feeling this low.  It makes her wonder if she should even bother trying to be friends with Junko.  It is clear Junko didn’t forget anything she did to her.  Kasumi closes her eyes because she remembers a lot she did to her little sister, but not everything.  Why can’t she simply accept my apology?  I meant what I said.  I want to be close to her.  I want friendship. For the first time in a while Kasumi feels so alone.  She wipes her damp cheeks with her fingertips before grabbing her phone.

Kasumi stares down at her phone wanting to talk to her friend Momo.  However, their friendship is new.  There is also the fact that Momo doesn’t know the old her.  Only the new Kasumi.  She does not doubt in her mind that Momo would be supportive and loving, maybe even have sound advice, but she can’t do it.  She can’t tell Momo what she is going through.  Kasumi brings her knees into her chest before laying her head down.  Her mind wanders to Shouta.  He said if she needed anything to let him know.

Kasumi frowns as she and Shouta left off on a good spot.  He had no idea who Kasumi was as a person.  I barely know who I am.  Regardless, Shouta is supportive of her.  He didn’t even rat her out to the university as she owned up to cheating her way into the school and resigned on her own.  Kasumi needs help.  Shouta is the one person she trusts.  He openly listened to her and didn’t judge her.  Kasumi takes a deep breath going to Shouta’s number in her phone.  She sends over a quick text message.

Kasumi: Hey…..do you have a moment to talk?

Kasumi listens to where Shouta instructed her the figures are located.  He stated how he was going to be off looking at some other items close by.  Kasumi grips her purse strap as she thought Shouta was going to stick beside her the whole time.  What was it Junko liked again?  Gundam or whatever. Kasumi slowly walks the aisle looking at the other figures available.  There were some really nice ones.  Kasumi smiles looking at a female figure in a cute school uniform.  So glad I don’t have to wear that goofy shit anymore.  Although I did make it look good.  She chuckles at the memory.  She gets to the gundam figures and there is a lot.

“Jesus,”
she mutters looking at the selection.  They all look the same to her.  Why does this have to be so hard.  Kasumi pouts tapping her left fist on the side of her thigh for a moment.  Once again she is regretting not paying attention to Junko.  She had been in her sister’s room more times than she can count but doesn’t remember anything Junko owns.  She definitely remembers those god awful clothes she has but outside of that she doesn’t have a clue.  Kasumi folds her arms feeling frustrated.  I should have taken a picture of her room in detail.  That could have been saving my skin right now. She continues to stare at the shelves seeing if anything jogs her memory if Junko has it or not.

I can’t believe he got that close.  Yuuto is very invested in Shouta winning this stuffed cat.  It is beginning to look like he is going to win.  Yuuto mouth drops open as Shouta claw manages to grab the stuffed cat.  He is so comfortable.  Shouta moves his prize to the drop area.  He releases a breath that Yuuto catches with his ears.  Shouta’s face doesn’t reveal anything but he can tell Shouta is pleased with winning the prize after two attempts.  Yuuto chuckles in amusement.

“Did you want to try a different game or play the claw machine yourself?” Shouta asked.  Yuuto is surprised Sho asked.  At the same time it’s not like he knows what games he is into.  Yuuto knows this is not his kind of game but Shouta the claw machine appears exciting and challenging.  Yuuto pulls out his wallet.

“I’m going to give it a try,” he replies.  He doesn’t take time to read Shouta’s face as he turns towards the machine.  Yuuto decides to play the claw machine Shouta used.  Not because Shouta walked away with a prize but because he liked the stuffed cats.  If he won it would either go to Shouta or he would take it home to Sarada to see if she would like it.  Yuuto inserts his first dollar into the machine.  He searches seeing which one would give him an advantage.  Yuuto settles on the cat that reminds him on his own.  The stuffed cat is in between ginger and brown fur with a green bib with a fish on it.  It is not close to front but not terribly far either.

Yuuto grabs the knob moving the machine claw.  He is focused as this is something he has never done before.  He is nervous and excited all in one.  Yuuto is pleased with the position taking the claw down.  The claw grabs the back portion of the cat.  Yuuto almost groans as he wanted the claw to grab in the middle of the stuff cat.  The middle looks more secure.  Yuuto attempts to lift the plush cat and it falls instantly.  Yuuto stands up frowning just a little.  He glances back over his shoulder at Shouta.

“Got any advice for me before I give this another attempt?” Yuuto asks.  He glances back at the machine finding himself eager to win.  Yuuto doesn’t know why it matters so much.  Maybe it is because Shouta is here with him and he wants to win the stuffed cat for him without him knowing.  After all this isn’t a date.  Yet it’s something Yuuto wants to do.

« Last post by Yuuto Usui on August 02, 2025, 07:54:37 pm »

Kasumi listens as Momo explains how heels can make most appear taller.  Kasumi didn’t really consider that because she is somewhat tall.  She mostly wear heels to fit a look.  Mostly when going on or she wants her legs to look toned.  “That is something I hadn’t really thought about” states Kasumi thoughtfully outloud.  “I can see you rocking some killer heels!”  Momo is giving her pro model tips.  Kasumi tells herself to make a mental note of all these nuggest Momo is dropping in the conversation.  While she doesn’t want to be a model she certainly wouldn’t mind looking like one.

Momo explains she is interested in some of the social media platforms but not all of them.  She wants to learn more how to use Instagram.  Kasumi personally feels Momo is doing herself and upcoming career a disservice.  Tiktok in Japan has come a long way.  Many people think the focus is educational.  It still is but they are slowly expanding to more areas.  Nothing messy like some of the stuff Kasumi has seen overseas.  Celebrities have begun to use the app to connect to fans.  Kasumi mostly enjoys the jpop and kpop dance challenges outside her typical makeup and fashion threads.  Kasumi herself would be overwhelmed trying to get on Tiktok and use it.  She doesn’t know how to put reels together but she is going to look into it soon.  Kasumi turns her attention back to Momo who says she is excited to get started on learning about Instagram from her.  Kasumi smiles glad to know Momo is comfortable and trusts her with navigation of Instagram.  Oh my god…..someone trust me to teach them.  I’m like a mini teacher! Kasumi begins to celebrate on the inside.  She has never been a position like this before.  It’s a euphoric feeling.  Momo’s giggles brings her back to the moment.  Kasumi nods listening to Momo admit the mall does tend to have cute guys.  She even says no harm in checking them out.  Kasumi feels like that is all she ever does is check out guys.  She never approaches them, they should be coming to her!

“In my experience I found Friday and Saturday nights at the mall to have the handsome guys,” Kasumi admits.  She is getting flashbacks to her high school and college days.  She would leave Junko often with the chores of the shrine to go outl.  Her friend circle at the time had to be at the mall on a Friday or Saturday night.  If they weren’t there it was one of the other houses where they would party among their group.  Their group consisted of girls and guys.  Most of them were popular at school.  The college days were a bit different as you had the study hard crowd, study hard and party and then simply party.  Kasumi feel into the strictly party crowd.  She sighs inwardly because she misses those days even though those peers weren’t her true friends.

Kasumi doesn’t speak to any of them.  She recalls a few of the girls from high school being jealous she got in Valeria University.  That made cheating her way in their worth it to see the looks on their faces.  They could clown her about staying back a year but she got into a top university.  It’s as if they didn’t want to see Kasumi doing better than them.  To this day Kasumi is unsure if they wanted to see her fail at life.  Those high school girls she hung out with disappeared from her life after she got into Valeria University.  ****.  Kasumi grabs a strand of her hair twirling it as she listens to Momo explain how she does want to get married one day.  She has even given hearself a deadline.  Kasumi is stunned how put together this girl is.  It’s as if she planned her whole life out.

“Thirty is great deadline to find a husband,” replies Kasumi.  “I personally would want a husband before the age of 30 mostly so when I have our child I can snapback with my body.”  Kasumi pats her mid section for emphasis on getting back into shape.   “The older you get the harder it is to lose weight and tone the skin.” Kasumi cringes at the thought of her looking so called sloppy after having a baby.  Flabby wrinkled skin, muffle top, cottage cheese thighs.  Ew.  “I like that you aren’t focused on solely finding a guy.  I have heard that is when the best ones come along.  Cheers to us finding some cute, nice, and etaslished bachelor.”  Kasumi would have toasted with a drink in hand to that.  Momo shifts the conversation pleasantly encouraging Kasumi to apply to work at the Mani Mani Cat Cafe.  She chuckles as Momo does this cute little side to side making those purple locks dance behind her.  It reminded her of a kitten in that moment.  She could use some innocent baby kittens to lift her mood.  Might not be such a bad gig.  “Thank you so much Momo.  You’re right.  We do all have to start somewhere.”

Kasumi feels bad when Momo says she is trying everything she can to succeed at modeling.  She really is.  Momo is doing more than Kasumi is herself granted Kasumi was no model.  “I apologize if I came off aggressive.” She grins. “I’m just overly excited about your career.  I want to pick a magazine one day and say I know her!”  Could Kasumi be selfish.  Sure.  She can also care for others if they give her something to care about.  Kasumi finds herself caring about Momo.  Something about her is so precious.  If only Junko could be more like her.  “There is a huge world out there.  You have every right to take advantage of it.”  Momo transitions smoothly stating how she likes to dress cute.  Totally.  Kasumi nods her head excitedly.  Momo is so easy to talk thus far.  She doesn’t feel like she is playing catch up with ‘college talk’ or ‘adult conversation’.  Kasumi found adult conversation to be boring as it could be about politics, bills, retirement, and such.  Just because you are grown doesn’t mean you can’t have a social life.  Kasumi shocked when Momo reveals she doesn’t think she could pull off a romper or a jumpsuit.

“Are you kidding!” exclaims Kasumi.  “You just need the right style for you.  I can see you rocking a romper with a waist belt.  Got to have the waist belt to snatch that waist.  Since you are going for cute the romper could be paired with some cute sneakers or sandals or in my case heels.”  Kasumi giggles.  “Then top it off with a jean jack, cardigan of even a blazer.  Rompers can be dressed up or down.  The options are limitless!”  Kasumi tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.  “I didn’t mean to get so excited there.  You are the full package Momo.  Not everyday someone inspires me to put outfits together.” Kasumi knows breaking into the modeling industry is hard.  One has to stand out.  Momo was not only petite, cute with thick purple flowing hair, her personality is humbled.  She’s going to go far.  I just know it!

“No need to try for anything you don’t feel adventurous trying,” replies Kasumi.  “Which dresses where you eyeing again?  I can certainly help you pick one of the two.”  Kasumi grins forgetting that she was also shopping for herself.  She can come back to that.  Her new friend needs her fashion opinion.  So much more important.

Sho was focused on the task at hand, as once the game finished gearing up, he carefully moved the claw toward the plush cat he was trying to get earlier. He positioned the claw just right before pressing the button to drop it down again and grab the item in question. Since it was close to where he needed to drop it, it didn't take much effort to grab the cat and quickly maneuver the claw to the drop slot to be released. He'd managed to win it without having to do too many rounds in an attempt to get it, and knelt down to grab said plush cat out of the dropbox of the machine, and was now holding it. It clearly appeared bigger than him, but he managed to win something. Turning around, he was facing Yuuto, who'd been quiet the entire time, and watching him, he'd been lost in his own head, trying to focus on what he was doing; he wasn't paying attention to anyone else around him.

Holding onto the plush cat like a pillow, his attention was focused on Yuuto as he finally spoke up. "Did you want to try a different game or play the claw machine yourself?" he'd asked. He wasn't sure if Yuuto was interested in the claw machine. Only those who liked taking chances when the odds are against them tended to, but he wouldn't be bothered if the other wanted to move on to a different game. They had plenty to choose from and didn't have to wait for anyone else to finish their turn on the games either. Sho personally just liked the claw machines because he just liked attempting to win something. He usually goes no more than three rounds on them. The only time he'd go more is if there was something specific in the machine that he wanted. Which was rare. Most claw machines had the same type of items. In the meantime, he stood there waiting for Yuuto's answer.

Yuuto was amazed as he watched Shouta become focused in a way he has never seen before.  Shouta face is either unreadable or smiling.  However since they reconnected he rarely sees Sho smile.  It makes Yuuto sad when he thinks about it.  At times it makes him feel like he destroyed who Shouta is.  It makes his heart hurt every single time he thinks about..  Shouta is searching around the arcade looking for where he wants to start.  He seems to know exactly what he wants.  Yuuto is stunned when Sho explains he likes to play the claw machine. Claw machine?  Yuuto viewed the claw machine like a lottery slot at a casino.  It was hard to win or be in control.  He is intrigued to see how Shouta will handle this particular device.

Yuuto follows Sho over to the claw machine of his choice.  There were many for him to choose from.  Yuuto shoves his hands in jean pockets as he approaches the machine..  The gifts inside this one have stuffed plush cats inside.  They all look the same but offer different colors.  Makes Yuuto wonder how Sarada would feel about him bringing home a plush cat.  Interesting prize choice for Shouta.  This doesn’t seem like an item he would want.  He must be getting this for someone else.

Shouta feeds the machine a dollar.  He swiftly begins his attempt to grab the cat.  He was not going for just any cat.  He clearly spotted a stuffed cat that would give him an advantage.  Sho moves the claw to what he thinks is a good spot before dropping down to grab the plush cat.  Yuuto jaw drops as he watches the claw cat plushie in his first attempt.  Shouta face doesn’t relax.  He is moving the claw towards the slot where the plush needs to be for him to claim it.  The plush cat falls before Shouta can get it where he needs it.  Yuuto glances at Shouta as he sees not disappointed.  There is a look of excitement behind his eyes.  This causes Yuuto to smile as he watches Shouta insert another dollar into the machine to make his second attempt.
